Imagine a life without limbs. Imagine to have never been able to reach for your mother’s hand, learn how to walk, or hold a baby. Recently I had the privilege of meeting one of the most inspiring people on the planet, Nick Vujicic.
It’s incredible how a change in perspective can impact our lives. In fact, as I continue to pursue this amazing concept called Personal Growth, I have discovered many new vistas along life’s path.
Nothing worthwhile in life is ever easy, but it’s worth fighting for. Because it’s what we want. But take care: When you stop fighting for what you want, what you don’t want will take over. There is no neutral in life. You are either moving forward or you’re sliding backward. You are either reaching your goals or you are procrastinating. You are either in control, or you are being controlled.
What has you? What’s your purpose? What gets you excited? What’s the BIG WHY behind everything you do?
As you climb that rocky road of personal growth, the answers to those questions are life savers, especially when you are about to give up. When you have fallen so deep and hurt so bad, that you believe nothing could ever get you back up again. But there is always hope. As long as you can look up, you can get up! Too often we get lulled into victim thinking, we have a pity party with ourselves and complain about all that’s going wrong. But here again, as you change your perspective you discover that there is always someone who is far worst off than you are! And yet, the people who end up being the most inspiring in this world are the people who have overcome their adversity, handicap or sickness. People who do things others said they couldn’t do. People who refuse to be held back by the limiting beliefs of others.
“When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change.” Dr. Wayne Dyer
You have come a long way and your unique experience could change someone else’s perspective. In fact: You have something on the inside of you that needs to get out there and needs to be shared with the world. It was given to you not FOR you but for OTHERS. As you climb higher and reach a new vista, a new insight or a new perspective in life – share it! You are an inspiration and you have the power to change someone’s life today. Don’t look back… Move forward. Press on.
I believe you can!
